STUDYING AT DOUGLAS COLLEGE
Based in Metro Vancouver since 1970, Douglas is the largest public university transfer college in Western Canada. Douglas offers 4-year Bachelor’s Degrees, 2-year Associate Degrees, Diplomas and several other credentials. You can also complete two years of university transfer courses at Douglas and then transfer into third year at a top public university across Canada.

Admission Requirements for Academic (University Transfer) and Career programs
Open Enrolment - General Admission Requirements:
- Completed BC secondary school graduation or equivalent in another school system or 19 years of age or older
Grade Point Average:
- Open Admission (some restrictions may apply)
English Proficiency:
- ELS Certification or
- TOEFL - Minimum score 83 IBT or
- IELTS - Minimum overall band test score 6.5 or
- International Baccalaureate (IB) English Language A (Higher level) - Minimum grade of 6 or C
Douglas welcomes international applicants. Applicants applying from outside Canada must send the following to ELS Language Centers:
- Completed application form
- Original high school transcript showing subjects and grades for the last two years of secondary school studies
- Official English translation of high school transcript if original document is not in English
- $100 CAD non-refundable application fee
